Spot recent legislative changes in your state’s cottage food act / health-department regulations (including where to locate the official documents, how to read a bill or rule update, and what terms to watch for).
Evaluate whether those changes impact your business model — e.g., adding online sales, widening allowed baked goods, or changing inspection/permit thresholds.
Make simple changes in your operations: update labels, adjust invoices/order forms, tweak sales venue strategy, so you stay compliant and continue to scale.
Set up a monitoring system so you’re notified when your state or local jurisdiction announces a rule change (we’ll provide a checklist and source list for tracking).
